How is GS1 Healthcare funded?

Modified on Wed, 28 Aug at 8:07 PM

To participate in GS1 Healthcare all organisations must pay an annual membership fee which is set by the global GS1 Healthcare Leadership Team in coordination with GS1. Note: Healthcare provider fees are waived.

GS1 is not-for-profit organisation and the funds collected are only to cover the costs of the GS1 Healthcare activities, in particular facilitating the global standards development process according to the agreed Roadmap.

GS1 Healthcare revenues and expenses are open book for GS1 Healthcare Leadership Team with a report being provided twice per year.
