Those organisations that have an internal quality management system will be able to incorporate the Data Quality Management System from the Data Quality Framework into their existing quality management system.
Implementing the Framework on an existing quality system will add value and will enhance existing processes by focusing on data quality, but it will not add another layer to the organisational structure.
