Instituting any data quality/accuracy programme will involve additional resources, very much depending on the size of an organisation and experience with data quality management.
The Framework is intended to be robust, but pragmatic/flexible to minimise increasing costs. In any case, these costs would be balanced by the advantages of having good quality data.
After all, by improving the quality of data within the end-to-end global supply chain, trading partners will reduce costs over time, improve productivity and accelerate product speed to market on a permanent basis.
