What support can I expect from GS1?

  • GS1 MOs are extremely valuable partners in the GS1 implementation process. 
  • They provide information, expertise and experience as well as education and support to help with navigating implementation. GS1 MO’s can facilitate contact with other hospitals that have already implemented, and in addition, GS1 MO’s have a good network to facilitate contact with government, professionals, associations, solution providers, etc. Some MO’s have local Healthcare User Groups to share knowledge and experience. Support maybe via:
  • Conferences and events, case studies and reference materials
  • Training and education for your team, including regular free webinars on getting started with GS1 implementation.
  • Enabling networking where you will meet other key stakeholders and solution providers
  • Implementation assistance including project management and expert consultants who can help you to check your organisation’s readiness and work with you to develop your implementation plan.
