            Which error correction algorithm does GS1 DataMatrix use, and what are its benefits?

            GS1 DataMatrix uses the Reed-Solomon ECC 200 (ECC = Error Checking and Correction) correction algorithm that enables recognition of barcodes that are up to 60% damaged. 


            Users can not define error correction levels in GS1 DataMatrix. It is automatic.
