GSMP brings users together from industries around the world to develop and implement supply chain standards through working groups. There are two types of GSMP working groups:
- Standards Maintenance Groups (SMG): standing working groups responsible to update existing GS1Standards.
- Mission-Specific Working Groups (MSWG): MSWG’s are formed to develop new standards or work on significant development initiatives.
