How will users and solution providers correctly apply the GS1 Traceability Standard?

Modified on Thu, 22 Aug at 9:59 AM

Education is seen as the foundation to enable the correct interpretation and implementation of the GS1 Global Traceability Standard. A comprehensive set of trainings are available for that purpose and can be delivered through the global network of GS1 Member Organisations in over 100 countries.

In addition to these trainings, users of the standards could build strategic alliances with many technology providers whose solutions support these traceability standards.
GS1 has a network of competent traceability auditors to perform on site assessments for analysis of gaps in traceability systems. When performed at the beginning of a traceability implementation project, these assessments provide a useful insight on how the company fares in terms of global standards and best practices.
