Modified on Fri, 30 Aug at 1:43 PM

GS1 is an international not-for-profit association with Member Organisations in over 100 countries.

GS1 Global Office is registered in Brussels (Belgium) and in New Jersey (USA), and we have local GS1 Member Organisations in 116 countries around the world.

More than 2 million companies in more than 20 different industries use GS1 standards.
GS1 created the GTIN™, an international product identifier also known as U.P.C., EAN or barcode. The GS1 GTIN™ is the number you see under the barcode of a product.
