QR Codes powered by GS1 may look like standard QR Codes that have become ubiquitous in restaurants and bars– but they also carry a barcode number (GTIN) and they can also be scanned at check out.

Think of it as a supercharged QR code giving information you can trust.

Thanks to incorporating the global standards that have powered traditional barcodes for decades, GS1 next generation barcodes can connect to vastly more information – for consumers, retailers and manufacturers. It is this wealth of data in everyone’s pockets that will put consumers in the driver’s seat to make more sustainable, safer and informed decisions.
