GLN: Global Location Number can be used by companies to identify their locations, giving them complete flexibility to identify any type or level of location required.

SGLN: Serialized Global Location Number. It's a unique identifier that represents a specific location, such as a building or a bin within a warehouse, and it's designed to be serialized, meaning it can be uniquely identified with a serial number.

GTIN: Global Trade Item Number can be used by a company to uniquely identify all of its trade items. GS1 defines trade items as products or services that are priced, ordered or invoiced at any point in the supply chain.

SGTIN: Serialized Global Trade Item Number, is a unique identifier assigned to individual parts or components of a railway asset. This allows for precise tracking and management of each individual item throughout its lifecycle, from production to maintenance and disposal. It is is created by combining a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) with a unique serial number.

GIAI: The Global Individual Asset Identifier is one of the two GS1 Keys for asset identification. Companies can apply a GIAI on any asset to uniquely identify and manage that asset. This could be a computer, desk, vehicle, piece of transport equipment, or spare part, as just a few examples. Companies assigning the GIAI can be either the asset owner or a leasing or rental company.
